Porches, Decks, Patios, Room Additions, Room Creations… that is what Bill and Jesse Harris of Custom Carpentry have been up to the last couple of months.
A custom designed deck adjacent to a hot tub in Ft. Thomas has a distinctive and one-of-a-kind privacy fence attached. Bill found decorative pieces of iron at an Antique shop, showed them to the homeowner and they designed the privacy fence incorporating them. Something totally unique.
On Rossmore, the customer wanted a new door access cut into the outside wall with a custom door leading to their one-of-a-kind deck – it’s finished and looks great.
Another Ft Thomas resident called and wanted a sound room built in his basement. Bill and Jesse sat down with the couple and designed and then built the sound room – the finished room was nothing other than totally awesome when it came to realization.
New deck steps and platform needed on Summit? They handled it.
New porch and new look on the front of a beautiful North Ft. Thomas Ave home – it’s completed.
Even with supplies delayed and some weather challenges, Custom Carpentry has continued to step up to the plate and offer their customers custom work and a fair price with great results.
Lately, they have seen an increase in customer’s wanting to cover existing patios or backyard areas. No problem with that request either. They’ve designed and built pergolas and roofs to compliment what the customers already had at their homes.
Their shed roofs offer several benefits such as lowering utility bills by shading doorways and windows and offering a covered area for year-round use. These areas can also present the opportunity to be turned into additional living space later. There is an idea in each homeowner’s mind and Custom Carpentry works with that idea within codes and variances and the homeowner’s budget to design, create and build what they are looking for. Bill and Jesse Harris work with each of their customers like they are family and are always willing to go that extra mile – just like you would do for your family.
